Loving MKMME more every day for keeping me grounded and on track. However, this has been especially challenging week–many old triggers are happening.
We did successfully move out of our co-op last week thanks to the most wondering Shea Moving (they were on my gratitude card the next day for sure!), and then drove up to move the items in the next day toi our new home which we are renting from the owners since the closings haven\’t happened yet. Here\’s the view out the window the first morning–yahoo! But I\’m not doing my DMP cartwheels quite yet!
This is my challenge/opportunity! We were supposed to close on the sale of our current co-op apartment and purchase of the new house before Christmas, December 18th was our first date. That didn\’t happen due to typical NYC housing issues. Then we had a date of January 16th which didn\’t happen due to our attorney forgetting to request a key form which he admitted readily and we appreciated his honesty! Now we have a date of January 23rd which is on track except that the said key form was mailed to our old address by mistake (instead of the attorney) and was due to arrive yesterday, the day that I started the Post Office mail forwarding! So the form, and we, are in limbo for certain!
This has really been hard because I like to plan things and I am ever more trying to be flexible knowing that things are going according to plan, but with many moving parts, 2 jobs, 3 schools, and 4 families/real estate transactions in limbo because of this, it\’s tough to stay focused.
But I\’m keeping my habits, knowing much is now behind us which seemed impossible before. I am up before my husband or the kids to do my index cards, read, sit, and I look forward to it, even when burning the midnight oil the night before on projects for work or the move. Throughout the day reading Og, and looking for \”specialized knowledge\” this week for the Franklin Makeover. I love it!
When I think of it, it really seems like this work is better than anything else I could be focusing on! So grateful to be in this class. I am planning to get our Kauai registration in once the closings are complete.
Namaste!
You are challenged and overcoming it all. Glad to see that you still are so positive.
I´m so excited for You and Your family, making this move happen!!! Surely the form will turn up all right and soon we see You cartwheeling on Youtube 😀
Love to follow Your adventure!
Peace // C
And you’re still doing it all…choices….even limbo is a choice…love your progress and appreciation for this journey.
Lots of challenges! But be proud that you are overcoming them and continuing the work with such dedication.
