It\’s the night before our move! I started week 1 of MKMME with a blog about our co-op apartment going on the market and so much has happened since then. Many twists and turns, but guided by the focus of where we going and all of these new habits which have helped so much and accelerate all the pieces falling into place. This move features prominently into my DMP:
I am jumping and doing cartwheels with the kids. We open the back door of the house and we are free for as far as we can see. I yell, “Yes, we made it!” to this country house of our own.
Dinner is ready with our garden veggies. A soup is always on the stove. Eating good food, keeping a positive mental state, and exercising an hour a day makes me feel so good. We can run and play outside anytime.
But I want to dedicate this blog space to the youngest Porter, my 4-year old William. At his preK class today, my husband and I saw the display his teachers made about the move. Just can\’t express both how proud I am of him as a person and his resilience to see that change is good. This is happening for us and is ushering in a grand new chapter.
Signing off from Sunnyside/Woodside, Queens, where we raised our family for seven years and will always be a home of ours.
Namaste!
You are awesome! Congratulations on your move! We moved into a brand new, retirement home in April 2017. I built a sauna in the back where I can relax at least 4 times a week or more. It will be paid, and we will be totally free and clear by June 15, 2022.
Congrats to you and your family on your country home!!! Your blog makes me want to knock on your door for a cup of soup.
I´m so happy for You and Your family realizing this dream of Yours! Looking forward to hear all about Your new life and finally meet You in Kauai!
Peace // C
Yes, I could smell the soup…lol… hoping the move went smooth for you, and it’s all you dreamed of…. experiencing a visualization, having it manifest in the physical form is the ultimate realization of all we are doing in this course… congratulations!
