Law of Subconscious
Law of Dual Thought
Law of Substitution
Law of Relaxation
Law of Growth
Law of Forgiveness
Law of Practice
Reading Haanel\’s bridge analogy (Chapter 12, #21), the immutable nature of these seven laws of the mind struck me this week. It\’s not that when a bridge fails, we question if making a bridge is possible; we rather evaluate, plan and then improve the design and implementation.
Becoming a more experienced operator of our thoughts and mind is the MKMME goal! I\’m game.
Speaking of, my little William asked me to play with him today before dinner. The game had \”no dice\” he said. I was mom and he was dad; we sat on the floor in his and his sisters\’ room and he directed the moves of our stuffed animals and special toys (he had a plane; I had a football). Mostly he wanted me to watch him and just sit there, which was amazingly perfect to do and I did just that, with the animals riding over the mud (AKA pile of pajamas on the floor) and landing together on the other side, etc. Hours like this he could go on. He\’s trying out scenarios, phrases, words, roles. Learning and practicing life.
He played and into my awareness popped the seven laws of the mind–they all interplay perfectly. Like an orchestra, or an imaginary plane ride over a mud slick. You can\’t have one without the others, but I would say that I\’m heavy into the Law of Practice at the moment! I have the burning desire for making our move happen so that our Christmas tree will be at the new house and Santa will get our new latitude and longitude in time. This has driven me like a bull for the last seven months. I even won a huge Christmas wreath at my family reunion BINGO in August for our future home/barn, weeks before we had actually seen the property we are now buying. I told everyone where it was going even though no place existed yet that we had seen!
But as of Tuesday, our realtor said we had a 30% chance of still closing by 12/22. I told her that I am absolutely sure this is happening in the perfect timing, but when Mark talked about the burning desire paired with non-attachment to the outcomes as you go, I\’m there. And practicing exactly that.
Wow, and Haanel as always (Chapter 12, #20): It is the operation of this marvelous law of attraction which has caused men in all ages and all times to believe there must be some personal being who responded to their petitions and desires, and manipulated events in order to comply with their requirements.
LOVE.
I have said food, clothing, shelter and love; for years now, that this is what we need to give the kids.
But I found this week, with LOVE I have started texting people back regarding painful new stories: Love prevails. I see myself growing up and into these ideas, or coming home to them, and my posture is changing.
Both how I stand, grounding my toes to the earth, but also the posture of my thoughts.
I notice my mind is more naturally orienting to a notion that I\’m already winning with everything that I\’m doing. The flash cards have been awesome to refocus this. I love the 32 things I came up with in 10 minutes at 6am on Monday before my eyes could even see and it was still dark. Reading them all hours later with the affirmations, I was really proud of every one and loved seeing what came out: I always feed my family. I married my high school sweetheart. I birthed three perfect babies. I got a six figure job offer after having minimal reported income for years. I do the laundry.
Winning!
Up and onward evermore! Namaste and thank you for reading.
Wow! Great post!
I am loving the cards, too! Love in all…
