It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving and we had a miracle.
My husband, our 3 kids, both grandmothers and my sister all went to the movies. I was just so excited to be in an actual theater with this crew (it\’s not so easy with small kids and lots of logistics), but I didn\’t know it was going to be an MKE story too! The title wouldn\’t give a clue: Ralph Breaks the Internet. But the main theme was finding yourself, for Ralph and Vanellope. Who do you really want to be? Repeated so many times. The Hero\’s Journey is though the story of life so I shouldn\’t be surprised by now. It replays continually!
Note the happiest almost 5 year old in the middle:
Also in our own lives: I can simply say that Wednesday, the week before Thanksgiving, rewinding just 3 days before the Ralph movie, we found out our car needed new brakes. My husband got the parts and did the work in our new shop spaces Thursday and Friday. Then that Saturday when it was all done, he drove the car to the City for a tooth repair and opened new doors. A business opportunity that\’s been waiting appeared again. All I can say is my husband realized he could be happy and is; he\’s in the dynamic flow of giving and receiving. We have traced back what did it–maybe I finally rubbed off on him with MKE thinking! Was he feeling good about the brakes, the business deal, the probiotics we are taking for microbiome health?? Maybe the acting class he is taking and loving so much?? Did the Marc Maron WTF podcast series he\’s been obsessed with opened up new channels in his mind?? What the heck, it\’s a celebration!
New habits are forming, goals are being reached. We are so blessed and becoming our true, self-directed selves.
Week 11 Haanel, Part 22: The recognition of the marvelous power which is possessed by the mind under proper conditions and the fact that this power can be utilized, directed, and made available for the solution of every human problem is of transcendental importance.
Yes it is!
Woke today with a song in my heart:
The sweetness of the morning
Wakes the kids from their beds
Off to breakfast for today!
Namaste, I wish everyone elevated thinking and continued connections.
